Be sure to check out the Education World website. This complete, one-stop educational website covers many subjects and also features a "Teaching Tolerance" link with a gold mine of lessons utilizing the Tolerance theme in music, math, and other activities specifically geared toward K-12 students.

During the month of January, the Teaching Tolerance project of the Southern Poverty Law Center offers grants of up to $2,000 for tolerance and youth activism projects in schools and communities. Look for the "Additional Resources" button on the Education World site where you will have a chance to acquire even more ideas to work through, and it's all for free!

The Telegram Tribune has recognized Victor Lopez at Paso Robles High School, with a wonderful article highlighting his efforts (as a struggling ESL student when he entered into Flamson Middle School) and his accomplishments (now a student with a perfect GPA and a candidate for valedictorian of Paso Robles High).
