CTAP information

California Technology Assistance Project CTAP is a state wide program overseen by California Department of Education.

EETT

SLOCOE's Senior Educational Technology Coordinator and other regional CTAP coordinators are available to assist with the Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) grants. CDE staff can provide assistance regarding eligibility, policy issues and how to submit grants. The primary goal of the EETT Competitive grant program is to provide funding for grades four through eight to assist eligible local educational agencies to use technology to enhance teaching and to promote learning.

The California Department of Education (CDE) will distribute approximately $31 million dollars annually to local educational agencies (LEAs) and eligible local partnerships in formula-funded grants through Title II, Part D, EETT. Funds will be allocated based upon each LEA's or at least one member of an eligible local partnership's proportionate share of Title I funding. As a condition of funding, the No Child Left Behind Act, Title II, Part D, requires an approved technology plan.
