The Personnel Commission for the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education is established by legislation and is designed to administer a merit system for the classified employees. Members are nominated at the local level and are appointed by state officials.

The SLOCOE Personnel Commission meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education at 3:30 p.m., unless a schedule change has been publicly announced and posted.
