The SLOCOE Human Resources Department works with the Personnel Commission in hiring, promoting, and retaining the most qualified staff for non-teaching positions. The Personnel Commission operates within the merit system as developed through the Education Code for the State of California. There are three Personnel Commissioners. Meetings are typically held on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
