Information Technology Services

To this end, we use technology, invention and innovation to constantly improve the County Office’s capabilities in the learning process. We know providing exemplary support and leadership in technology to schools and districts is critical to student success.

The Information Technology Services department (ITS) offers technology services to the Office of Education and the school districts of San Luis Obispo County. We provide the following services to both school districts and our own internal departments:

• Network Operations Center
• 24/7 Filtered UPS and generator back-up power
• High-speed (10GB) Internet access to all county school districts
• Virtualized Data Center
• Small District technology support
• County-wide Data Management System
