INSIDE MATHEMATICS
This site provides a resource for educators who struggle to provide the best mathematics instruction they can for their students. Resources include demonstration lessons, mathematics learning tools, and resources to support classroom teachers, coaches, and administrators’ daily practices.
Among the resources on this site, there is a Common Core Toolkit, a 48-page guide available as a free download or in hard copy for a nominal fee.

Resources that inspire math success for all students through growth mindsets and innovative teaching. Their main goal is to inspire, educate and empower teachers of mathematics, transforming the latest research on math learning into accessible and practical forms.
California Mathematics Project
The California Mathematics Project (CMP) is a K-16 network dedicated to providing students a rich, rigorous, and coherent mathematics curriculum taught by competent and confident mathematics teachers who foster ALL students’ proficiency in mathematics—achieving equity in quality. CMP enhances teachers’ mathematical content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge that is aligned to the California Mathematics Standards and Framework.
California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration
The California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration (CCEE) is an initiative to transform public education, to ensure every student is inspired and prepared to thrive as their best self in the world through a focus on system of support, community engagement, learning acceleration and direct technical assistance. CCEE has three key purposes, including continuous improvement, student success and student-centered approaches.
ILLUSTRATIVE MATHEMATICS
This resource provides guidance to states, assessment consortia, testing companies, and curriculum developers by illustrating the range and types of mathematical work that students experience in a faithful implementation of the Common Core State Standards, and by publishing other tools that support implementation of the standards.
Mathematics Assessment Project
Mathematics Assessment Project (MAP). MAP is a collaboration between the University of California, Berkeley, and the Shell Center team at the University of Nottingham, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The team works with the Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative and school systems across the US and UK to develop improved assessment.

Count, Play, Explore
Count Play Explore (CPE) is a California initiative that promotes early math and science learning in children from birth to age 8, focusing on empowering families, caregivers, and educators through playful, joyful, and everyday math and science experiences. It offers a free web application with videos and activities for parents and caregivers, as well as comprehensive professional learning resources for educators and coaches to support early STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education.
