Induction Programs

Vision: The SLOCOE Induction Program is committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining high quality staff who deliver an exceptional education to the students in our county.
Mission: The mission of the SLOCOE Induction Program is to increase student achievement by providing purposeful, structured, and systemic support services that develop and retain quality educators. To best serve our diverse classrooms, we are committed to recruiting and elevating a mentor and coaching pool that reflects all backgrounds and experiences.

Teacher Induction Program

SLOCOE’s Teacher Induction Program (TIP) provides two years of job-embedded structured support and professional development for teachers who hold a Preliminary Credential. After successful completion of TIP, participating teachers are recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for a Clear Credential.

Clear Administrative Services Credential Program

SLOCOE’s Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) program offers the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) accredited clear administrative services phase of the credential program to support the ongoing growth and development of our county’s newest leaders. Candidates who successfully complete the two-year CASC program are recommended to CTC for a Clear Credential.
